After 5 miles, 4 hours and 1,488 feet of elevation change, I had arrived at the top of Angels Landing in Zion National Park, UT. As if that wasn’t enough, I ran… ok, jogged all the way down the hill. It was magnificent. I was elated. I was… happy.

My sister, bro-in-law, uncle, aunt and I sat under the stars a few nights ago after sipping wine in the hot tub. The stars that come out in the southern night sky are breathtaking.
